About Me

With roots in Buffalo, New York, and a career that has taken me across the country, I’ve built my journey as a designer through a blend of creativity, adaptability, and passion for storytelling. From crafting print campaigns in Southern California to developing websites and digital media in the Carolinas, I’ve had the opportunity to work with diverse industries, teams, and clients. Along the way, I’ve combined my love for design with strategic communication, helping businesses stand out and connect with their audiences in meaningful ways.

From North To West To The South

Born and raised in Upstate New York I’m proud to say I’m a native Buffalonian. Every visit back to my home town ends up with me coming home with sponge candy, pastry hearts, and sometimes Weber’s Mustard — If you know you know!

I currently live in what used to be a small town in South Carolina right on the border of Charlotte, North Carolina. I can literally cross the state line multiple times a day. It’s the best of both worlds as I absolutely love the Carolinas!

I began my design journey as a print designer in New York and my career took off when I joined the marketing department of one of Southern California’s largest real estate firms. There, I created compelling print campaigns and wrote copy for direct mail pieces supporting over 30 offices, helping to promote the buying and selling of homes and high-end, luxury properties.

Eventually, my path led me to the Charlotte, North Carolina area, where I worked as both an executive administrative assistant and graphic designer. I developed a wide range of marketing materials. This included newsletters, presentations, proposals, and one-page microsites for the sales team of one of the world’s leading independent providers of document management systems and office technology solutions.

That experience opened the door to a new opportunity in South Carolina, where I joined the media services department of a major internet service provider. In that role, I designed, redesigned, wrote copy for, and maintained websites with an amazing team for more than 200 clients — as well as developed landing pages and targeted display ads for agency partners — gaining deep experience in digital media and client-focused design.

On A Personal Note

I’m a proud mom to a lovely grown daughter, a feisty cat, and a bossy dog. Being a huge movie buff, on my down time you’ll catch me in the theater watching the latest release — anything from comedy to sci-fi / fantasy to horror to romance to foreign film. I love it all. I may even add a movie review blog to my website.

When not in the theater I’m exploring design tutorials, enjoying lunch or dinner with friends, checking out live music, binge watching a good show on Netflix, or I’ll have my nose in a good book. I especially adore cheesy teen book series. Guilty pleasure, right? Everyone has one!

I’m also an amusement park junkie. Nothing beats a good rollercoaster!

Behind the designer I’m a regular person living day to day like everyone else. In work mode I’m extremely professional and detail oriented with my head in the game. Outside of work I try to experience life in a way that is positive and joyful. This mindset keeps me grounded and focused in all aspects of my life. It enhances my relationships with friends, family, and even the clients I design for. Because I take my relationships seriously and care about outcomes, whether it’s personal or business.
