Design plays a major role in helping a business stand out, whether on a website, in print, or across digital platforms. Visuals will catch the eye, but they’re only half of the story. The other half lies in written content.

To really connect with potential customers, the message behind the design needs to be clear and easy to understand. Great design grabs attention, but great messaging via the written word adds layers of trust, loyalty, and confidence while giving people the information they need in a way that makes a business stand out.

I feel like it’s as simple as this: if you’re selling donuts, a beautiful website with mouthwatering photos of frosting-covered, sprinkle-topped treats can be enough to grab someone’s attention, get them to click an ad, and even rush out the door to grab a dozen.

But unless you’re giving donuts away for free, it’s important to tell people why your donuts are worth it, so even more customers will want to walk through your door. What makes your donuts special? Maybe they’re made from scratch with fresh ingredients. Maybe you offer flavors no one else does. Maybe your donuts turn a bad day around. You’re not just selling donuts! You’re selling comfort, joy, and a little bit of magic in every bite. THIS is why the copywriting for a business is so important on top of keywords and search engine optimization. It’s marketing and strategy.
